Wood Floor Sandless Refinishing

When It’s time to have your hardwood floors recoated, call Colorado Cleaning & Restoration. We offer a sandless refinishing process of hardwood floors that don’t need a full sand and refinish. After the final coat of finish , the floors can be walked on in 3 to 4 hours with stocking feet, and most furniture can be put back with felt bottoms after 48 hours. Rugs can be put back after 7 Days. This process is perfect for floors with minor blemishes or scratching and has all of its original finish but has lost its original shine. It will bring back its beauty and prolong the life of your hardwood floors.

Sandless refinishing Process

Your hardwood floors will be inspected for previous damage, and determine if it’s a good candidate for sandless refinishing.
We begin by vacuuming to remove large debris from the floor.
Small cracks or gouges can be filled if desired.


A “dust-free” abrading process using BonaX Prep Recoat will be performed to clean and condition the existing finish to optimize adhesion of a new coat of finish. The Bona Prep system also removes scuffs and surface scratches, rather than just covering them. The Bona Prep recoat adhesion system works on all residential, commercial and sport polyurethane finished hardwood floors, including aluminum oxide, ceramic, and other factory prefinished floors.


After A “dust-free” abrading process using BonaX Prep Recoat is completed, the hardwood floor will be tacked again to remove any remaining debris before any coats of finish are applied.
