Tile and grout are difficult to clean. Call Colorado Cleaning & Restoration to remove these embedded soils. Our tile and grout cleaning process will make your tile, stone, and grout lines clean and fresh.

What Makes Tile & Grout Cleaning So Difficult

Tile & Grout Sealer

The tile and grout sealer we use for ceramic tile and grout utilizes a unique new formula to achieve all the benefits of solvent-based grout sealers in a water-based product. It resists soils, stains, chemical degradation, biological growth, and efflorescence and offers excellent oil and water repellency and hold-out. And yet, this tile and grout sealer is vapor permeable so it lets water vapor out but doesn’t let liquid or water in.

When we clean your tile and grout, this sealer has been applied for maximum protection for years.

Stone & Grout Sealer

The stone and grout sealer we use is water-based, far superior to “Retail Home Center” products. It will protect stone tile and grout from oil and water-based spills and dry soils. It penetrates deeply into the stone and grout. After thoroughly cleaning your stone and grout, we apply stone and grout sealer to offer the very best protection, and it won’t leave a “skin” and flake off like other sealers.

It is very effective on all grout, absorbent, semi-absorbent stone, and tile. Grout is stronger when protected with this durable sealer as well.

Stone Color Enhancer & Sealer

The stone color enhancer and sealer we use are designed to reveal vibrant colors hidden in stone and highlight all the rich colors of the stone. This color stone enhancer is designed for natural stones such as limestone, slate, travertine, sandstone, flagstone, tumbled stone, marble, flamed stone, and textured stone.

It will rejuvenate and revitalize the appearance of almost any interior stone floor or surface. It is designed to help protect against most spills and stains. We can apply this color-enhancing sealer after thoroughly cleaning your stone upon request, or in some cases; we will recommend this sealer after cleaning your stone.

Tile & Grout Cleaning FAQs

How often should I get my tile and grout cleaned?

We recommend every 12 to 24 months depending on the amount of soiling you have from traffic on your home or office tile and grout. When your tile and grout look dark or dingy even after mopping and scrubbing the grout lines, it is probably time for Colorado Cleaning and Restoration’s tile and grout cleaning.

How do I clean my tile and grout between professional tile and grout cleaning?

Regular mopping and scrubbing with a grout brush will help maintain the beauty of your tile and grout. When you use mild cleaners to clean your tile and grout, be sure to call the manufacturer of the cleaning agent you want to use to ensure it won’t neutralize or remove the sealer put down when the professional tile and grout cleaning is performed.

If your tile is made of a natural stone, be sure to ask if it is safe for the particular type of stone you have as well. When the DIY cleaning is no longer getting the tile and grout clean, it’s time to call Colorado Cleaning and Restoration for professional-strength tile and grout cleaning.

Do you perform tile and grout cleaning services for showers?

Yes, we do tile and grout cleaning for floors, walls, showers, and tubs. We can do tile and grout cleaning for just about anything that we can get our hands on. If we can get to your tile and grout, we can provide tile and grout cleaning service for your home or office.

Can you get mold out of my tile and grout?

We can get mold out of your tile and grout. However, mold can permanently stain your grout lines and sometimes your tiles. Our tile and grout cleaning is a very effective way to remove just about anything, but there may be some limitations for any tile and grout cleaning company.

Mold rarely comes out of caulking when a professional tile and grout cleaning company performs your services. Therefore, we usually have to re-caulk areas that have staining in them.

Can you remove the white calcium buildup from my tile and grout?

When Colorado Cleaning and Restoration performs tile and grout cleaning for someone’s ceramic tile and grout, we can usually remove the calcium buildup. When performing tile and grout cleaning for someone’s natural stone, we usually cannot get the calcium buildup out because we can only use cleaners on the alkaline side of the pH scale.

If we use acidic cleaners on your natural stone, it can damage the stone. Therefore, we have limitations when performing tile and grout cleaning. It depends on the type of tile and grout you have in your home or office.
